The Prime Minister, Rami el-Hamdallah, kept silent for a long time and when he finally pronounced himself, his words were met with disbelief: “The people of Gaza feel grateful about what we are doing for them -more than we do for the West Bank- and we have received messages of thanks from them!”
The people of Gaza did not know Rami al-Hamdallah: they did not hear about him and did not hear from him; he did not see them and Gaza did not see him.
On neither of the more than 51 days was he present in Gaza… Rami el-Hamdallah did not disclose from whom he received the letters.
Thanking him? I wonder whether the families of the 2.148 martyrs feel thankful, whether he sympathized with them or shed tears of sadness for them! For them or for the more than 11.000 injured, of whom he has not visited a single one!?
What about the people of Khuza’a and Abasan, of Farrahin and Hojer el-Deek, of el-Moghraqa and el-Nasser village, of Beit Hanoun and East Rafah Camp beach, whose homes are destroyed and who have no place to stay!?
Then there are the hospitals of Aal-Wafa in Eastern Gaza, Beit Hanoun and Aqsa, Deir al-Balah, places of martyrs such as Abu Yousef al-Najjar in Rafah, places that are partially destroyed or even entirely rubble! Also the el-Thafer Tower 4, the Italian Tower in el-Nasser, the Basha Tower and the North Tower 67: they are in similar conditions; but nobody checked them or looks after them now!
Then there are the fishermen of the sea of Gaza or the farmers or owners of poultry farms and livestock, who suffered hard from the tax and misery of war! Or more than 50.000 staff members, who kept the Gaza Strip running well for seven years and continued to work day and night even during times of aggression –which did not distract them from work– and who wait for the authorization of the Chairman of the Government for their salaries!
If the people of Gaza realize that you are lying to them and you did not receive any message of thanks from them, they will be infuriated and it will be your fault and that of the ministers of your government.
It was your government that denied all help in the darkest hours of aggression. Remember how the Health Minister Jawad Awad came so late to Gaza, two weeks after the attacks, and his reluctance to send operation kits to the hospitals… Imagine how the reception will be if you and Mahmoud Abbas come to Gaza after this aggression!
The messages of thanks, which you received, may have come from some conscientious employees, who worked for seven years and have been given more than one salary for committing to your orders and stayed in their homes during the aggressions.
Maybe you initiated this… or hypocrites in Gaza City who praise you for ceasing to support Gaza!
But the matter of fact is that the people of Gaza feel pride only in your weakness and your disabilities, be it in front of the Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas or in front of the Israeli and Americans!
What do you mean, Dr. al-Hamdallah, by saying that most of the West undermined the security coordination and the system security? What about the rapes of the occupation army?
Dr. al-Hamdallah, we were grateful when you presented your resignation to Mahmoud Abbas and then amended it; and we were pleased when you were chosen as Head of Government and became the Prime Minister of the residents of the West Bank and of Gaza.
But, Dr. al-Hamdallah, you have betrayed Gaza and I advise you to submit your resignation before you are freed of your responsibilities by Mahmoud Abbas.
رسالة من غزة العزة لرئيس حكومة الوفاق الفلسطيني الدكتور/رامي الحمد الله

رئيس حكومة الوفاق د.رامي الحمد الله صَمتَ دهراً ونطق كفراً حين قال: سكان غزة يشعرون بما نقوم به أكثر من الضفة ونتلقى منهم رسائل شكر!!…سكان غزة لم تعرف الحمد الله لم تسمع به ولم تسمع منه لم يراها ولم تراه على مدار 51 يوماً كان الغائب ولم يكن يوماً الحاضر…الحمد الله لم يفصح ممن تلقى رسائل الشكر؟؟ يا ترى من ذوي الشهداء 2148 شهيد الذي لم يعزيهم أو يزرف دمعة حزن عليهم!..أو من المصابين 11000 الذي لم يمسح على جراحهم أو يزور أحداً منهم !..أو من أهل الشجاعية وخزاعة وعبسان الصغيرة والفراحين وحجر الديك والمغراقة وقرية النصر وبيت حانون وشرق رفح ومخيم الشاطئ ووو… الذين دمرت بيوتهم والذي لم يسعى لإيوائهم أو معرفة جغرافيتهم!..أو من مستشفى الوفاء شرق غزة ومستشفى بيت حانون ومستشفى شهداء الأقصى وسط دير البلح ومستشفى الشهيد أبو يوسف النجار برفح على تدميرهم كلياً أو جزئياً!.. أو من سكان برج الظافر 4 وبرج الإيطالي وبرج الباشا وبرج 67 بالشمال الذي لم يطمئن على أحوالهم!..أو من صيادي بحر غزة أو من المزارعين أو من أصحاب مزارع الدواجن والمواشي ووو… الذي لم يرهق عينيه بقراءة أخبارهم!..أو من 40 ألف موظف أداروا قطاع غزة بكل اقتدار لمدة سبع سنوات وواصلوا العمل ليل نهار بكل اجتهاد أيام العدوان لم يصرف لهم راتب منذ تفويضك رئيساً لحكومة الوفاق!.. إذاً سكان غزة تُجزم أنك تكذب عليهم ولم تتلقى أي رسالة شكر منهم بل هم حانقين عليك وعلى وزراء حكومتك لتقصيركم جميعاً بحقهم في أحلك الظروف, تذكر ماذا فعل سكان غزة بوزير الصحة د.جواد عواد لتأخره عن زيارة غزة أسبوعين بعد العدوان وتلكؤه بإرسال مستلزمات العمليات!…تصور لو جئت لغزة أنت ومحمود عباس بعد هذا العدوان كيف سيكون الاستقبال!.. إذاً من أرسل لك رسائل الشكر ياحضرة الرئيس بلا رئاسة فعلية؟ موظفي السلطة المستنكفين عن العمل منذ سبع سنوات وتقاضوا أكثر من راتب أثناء العدوان’ تكريماً لالتزامهم أوامركم بالبقاء في بيوتهم! ربما صدقت في ذلك… أم المرجفون في المدينة والمنافقين بغزة ممن زينوا لكم عجزكم عن نصرة غزة! ربما صدقت في ذلك…فحقيقة الأمر أيها الرئيس أن سكان غزة العزة لم تشعر إلا بعجزكم وتخاذلكم وضعفكم وهوانكم أمام رئيس السلطة محمود عباس وأمام اليهود وألامريكيان!…د/ رامي ماذا تقصد بقولك أكثر من الضفة المكلومه بالتنسيق الأمني وبأجهزتك الأمنية, المستباحة من المغتصبين وجيش الاحتلال؟ هل تقصد أن ضفة العياش وأبو هنود والأحرار مهمشةً من خدماتك لدرجة أنها أقل من غزة التي لم تر شيئاً منها سوى الطعن في عزتها ونصرها من رجالاتك أمثال محمود الهباش والضميري وعساف وغيرهم!.. د/ رامي لقد أكبرناك يوم قدمت استقالتك بعد أسبوع من تعينك من محمود عباس ثمَّ عدلت عنها’ وتأملنا فيك خيراً حين فوضناك رئيساً لحكومة الوفاق كي تكون رئيساً لسكان الضفة وغزة…د/رامي لقد خذلت غزة وأنصحك أن تقدم استقالتك قبل أن يقيلك محمود عباس
